Today wasn't the game we were hoping for. Having been beaten at Repton before Christmas we were aware of the talent this team possessed.
However we seemed up for the challenge and the team was in good spirits.
We played our usual formation in the hope that this would give us some attacking force that we lacked in the previous game against this opposition. However Repton brought a young a fit team and we found it hard as the game went on to keep up with them.
In midfield they were onto us quickly and we struggled wit out passing.
By the end of the first half we were 4 nil down.
In the second half we seemed to get a bit more organised. Amy March's second game for us in goal was a tough one for her but she still made some fantastic saves. Our defence however found it hard to get onto the rebounds and this is where Repton punished us.
We did have a little glimmer of joy though as Harriet Graham and Charlie James worked well together up front to passing between each other in the D to keep possession and Charlie finished off the move with a clean strike into the bottom right corner. A deserved goal but
