In the interest of getting a match report online I'll say what I can.
Key Points
The ladies 1st team can score goals; pretty important as we go into our first league game next week.
Hockey is a dangerous game to play; Evie's commitment and tight marking unfortunately resulted in a nasty whack to the head and face resulting in blood and a lot of bruising but ice packs and a bit of time will see her back on our pitches soon!
The ladies 1st team play good hockey and continue working til the final whistle.

There were brilliant performances all over the pitch from individuals, attacks were pacey and demonstrated our ability to pass well and support each other and the defense are really working together to develop confidence, communication and calm-under-pressure.
Beth was quite rightly voted player of the match for excellent work out of defense and demonstrating some pretty nifty skills on her way into the attacking D too! Immy, Sophie Richardson, Meg, Gracie, Evie and Georgie also got votes for great work on the pitch.

Really looking forward to next weekend and getting some early points on the board. (Also, looking forward to a better match report as I'm sure you are)
