The outgoing and incoming 3rd team captains, Neil Manley and Gary Thorpe, made the trip to Letchworth yesterday for the East League AGM and Trophy presentation.

The reward for enduring the AGM was a rather nice buffet and of course the honour of collecting the trophy for winning Division 6NW(S).

The main thing to report is that there will be a mandatory pre-season briefing session held in August that the club will need to attend. The purpose is to have a joint meeting with the League, England Hockey and Umpire Association to learn about new developments prior to the start of the 19-20 season. The obvious example is whether we are going to be playing 2 x 35 minutes or 4 x 15 minutes.
