Kettering Hockey Club were very saddened to hear the news that Brian Chamberlain had sadly died.
Brian was a stalwart of the club playing in goal for the Mens 1st team and Skymoons. Upon playing retirement Brian became Ladies 1st team umpire for many years. A calm influence and a thoroughly nice man, always supportive of others and proper club man.
For us of a certain age we will always remember Brian sitting on his tractor mowing the pitches before Saturday’s games on the grass, marking the lines, sorting out the goals or whatever was needed doing to get games on.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Val at this difficult time.

Brian’s funeral will be held at the Albert Munn Chapel at Kettering Crematorium on Tuesday 12th November at 12.30pm.
